It increases the pet’s resistance to oxygen deficiency (hypoxia), reduces the oxidative degradation of lipid cells.

Indications for use of Emicidin are as follows:

  • Extensive damage to all layers of epithelial tissue (dermatitis, trauma with dissection of tissues, ulcers, severe frostbite, deep burns, etc.).
  • Diseases of the heart muscle and circulatory system, proceeding both in a sluggish current (chronic), and in acute form.
  • The rehabilitation period after surgery or preparation for surgery.
  • Circulatory disorders in the brain, epilepsy of any etiology and other pathologies of the nervous system.
  • Chronic lung diseases.
  • Hypoxia or acute lack of oxygen in the cells.

Empicidin is successfully used to maintain age-old pets (7 years or more). The drug improves the general condition, reduces the risk of exacerbation of various chronic diseases, improves the quality of life.

Instructions for use Emicidin and dosage

In the instructions for the use of Emicidin, several schemes and dosages of the drug are indicated.

Cardiology and Neurology

For heart diseases, impaired functioning of the nervous system (epilepsy, encephalopathy, etc.) and poor blood circulation in the brain, Emicidin is used as an adjunct to the main course of therapy.

The solution is used as follows:

  • In severe condition - 0.1-0.12 ml per kilogram of body weight, administered intravenously with saline (NaCl) and glucose 5%. Jet intravenous administration is allowed, but in this case, the drug is diluted with water for injection in a ratio of 1 to 3.
  • When stable, 0.1 ml per kilogram (1-2 times a day). Method of administration: into the muscle. The course of treatment is 5-10 days.

After a course of injections, Emicidin is continued to be given to the pet in capsule form. The course of treatment lasts up to 20 days. The medicine is given to the animal in the morning and evening.

In chronic diseases, the drug is given in the form of capsules in the same dosage, but for 30 days.

Surgical intervention

Before the planned operation, the animal is shown subcutaneous injections of Emicidin at a dosage of 0.1 ml per kilogram. They are done once a day for 5 days. With unplanned surgical intervention, an injection can be made 1 hour before the operation.

When removing from anesthesia, Emicidin is administered in the same dosage together with an intravenous dropper mixed with 5% glucose or saline.

In the recovery period after surgery, the solution is injected under the skin at the withers for 10 days once a day. After a course of injections, the dog is fed Emicidin capsules for another 20 days in dosage: up to 10 kg - 1 pc. (15 mg); 10-30 kg - 2 pcs. (15 mg); 30-50 kg - 1 pc. (50 mg); from 50 kg - 2-3 pcs.
